Michael Pourciau

A service will be held to memorialize Michael's life on Saturday Dec. 27, 2008, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service at noon. Michael left behind his wife of 38 years, Dianne Corrent Pourciau; sons, Michael Jr. and wife Allison Pourciau and Kory and wife Misty Pourciau; daughter, Sheri "Beth" Pourciau; mother, Sherry Pourciau and sisters, Suzi and Shane Tullier, Lynette Pourciau and her sons, and Mikki and Kenny Carr. Michael joined the Lord at 5:28 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center MICU, at age 56. He was honored to have family and friends at his bedside as he reunited with his beloved father, Lynn Jules Pourciau, at the gates of heaven. He showed great courage through a hard battle. The staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center touched his heart. The family greatly appreciated the hard work, cooperation, love and compassion they have shown us over these months. The family would like to recognize Mama Ollie for her selfless acts of love for Michael. As well as acknowledge an unconditional love that Michael shared with his sister, Suzi. He will live on through his grandbabies, Kole, Carter, Paiton, Keely, Hannah, Caleb, Jacob and Connor whom he loved very much. Michael will be remembered for the love and loyalty he gave to those in his life. He will be missed by all who loved him always.
