Myrtle Ann Gebhart Saxon

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, B.B. Saxon; mother and father, Adine and Richard Gebhart, and brothers, Richard Gebhart and Charles Glen Gebhart.

She is survived by her son, Brody Saxon, daughter-in-law Ann Reilley Saxon, grandchildren Dr. Katherine Chiasson Connell and Sean Michael Saxon and great-granddaughter, Barbara Reilley Connell “Birdie.”

M.A. was a member of Windermere Oaks Civic Association, Friends of Hilltop Arboretum, Life Member of Our Lady of the Lake Hospital Volunteers, Baton Rouge Garden Club, Floral Friends Study Club, and St. Aloysius Altar Society. She attended LSU where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. For years she served as a volunteer at Our Lady of the Lake and St. Aloysius School.
