Nancy Burns Crane, loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 7:42am. She was 81 years old, a native of Donaldsonville, LA, and a resident of Baton Rouge for over 50 years. An avid reader of history, she loved crossword puzzles, homemaking, and working on projects around the house. A person of genuine warmth and unfailing loyalty, she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her for her sweetness and kindness. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Carl Crane; two children, Leslie Crane and Shawn Crane; daughter-in-law, Sandee Watt Crane; and three grandchildren, Jackson, Dylan, and Shelby Crane. A special thank-you goes out to the caregivers and staff at The Woodleigh of Baton Rouge, who were so kind and giving, and took such good care of her during her stay.
