Nancy N. Johnston, a native of Summit, Miss., and a resident of Central, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at the age of 63. Mrs. Johnston is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clinton A. Johnston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Lonnie Piper, Debbie and Clint Rabalais and Tina and Jason Michelli; six grandchildren, Steven, Brett and Christina Piper, Cody Rabalais and Jarod and Janelle Michelli; brother and sister-in-law, John and Barbara Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Bill Durham; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Theresa Johnston; and brother-in-law, Donald Johnston. Preceded in death by her foster parents, Lee and Winnie Nell Johnston; mother, Laura Boyd; and brother, Tommy Martin. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until service in the chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by Derek Lindsay. Graveside service at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, Summit. Mrs. Johnston was truly an angel who helped anyone she could.
