Natalie Elbourne

Natalie Lorraine Heard Elbourne, known to her family and friends as MawMaw Nat, passed away November 2, 2021, at the age of 97. Natalie was born September 18, 1924, in Baton Rouge La. where she resided her whole life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, James Charles (Bay) Elbourne and her parents John Clinton and Pearl Long Heard; her brother John Heard Jr. and sister Cindy Thomas. She is survived by her brother Wayne Heard, two devoted sons and their wives Gary (Blaine) and Don (Myra,) six grandchildren and their spouses; Rachel Justus (John,) Scott (Jennifer,) Don (Courtney,) Keith (Wendy,) Kristin Reynolds (Ron,) David (Aimee,) and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was devoted to her family, loved to fish, garden, and travel in their motorhome. She will be buried at the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana next to her loving husband.
