Natalie Schmidt Fulton, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at home on December 24, 2015, at the age of 78. She was a secretary for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System for many years and earned a Master's of Social Work from LSU. She is survived by her husband Hollis V. Fulton; son Mark V. Fulton and wife Patricia of Fremont, CA; daughter Leah Fulton of Baton Rouge, LA; sister Lois Bomba of Houston, TX; and grandchildren Caitlin and Carl Fulton. She was preceded in death by her parents George A. and Gertrude Rische Schmidt; two brothers George P. and David J. Schmidt; and sister Rhoda Grewe. A visitation will be Sunday, December 27, 2015, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm conducted by Pastor Michael Button. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to The Hospice of Baton Rouge, World Wildlife Fund, or Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Arrangements are made by Rabenhorst Funeral Home East.
