She was called to Heaven on Thursday, October 19, 2017. She was 91 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen B. Cook, SR. She passed very peacefully at her daughter, Diane and grandson Robby's home in Denham Springs where she resided for the last 2 ½ years. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, October 24, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Religious service conducted by Rev. Carl Bennett of Oakcrest Baptist Church, where she had been a faithful member for years. She is survived by her daughter Diane Wassung; her son and daughter-in-law, Allen, JR. and Bobbye Cook; three grandchildren, Robby Taylor, Todd and David Cook; 6 great-grandchildren, Brittany Cook, Todd Cook, JR., Rachel Cook, Cheyenne Taylor, Jessica Meadows, and Wesley Taylor.
