Oma M. Davis

A resident of Baker and former resident of Baton Rouge died on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Lane Regional Medical Center. She was 104 and a native of Leesville. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, July 1, 2013, from 9 am until religious services at 11 am conducted by the Rev. Milford Walters. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Oma is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Hermon and Nora Davis, Harold and Bennie Davis and Ralph and Cheryl Davis; six grandchildren, Barbara P. Moak, Gregory Pickering and wife Wanda, Karen Davis Gautreaux and husband Barry, Ronnie Davis and wife Donna, Gary Davis and wife Lori and Lisa K. Davis; twelve great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and James Pickering; her parents; and fourteen brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Davis, Brad Davis, Barry Gautreaux, Kyle Gautreaux, Gary Davis and Corey Davis. She was a former member of Monte Sano Baptist Church.
