Patricia Farr Carroll

Patricia Farr Carroll passed away peacefully on December 24, 2014, at the age of 93. Mrs. Carroll was born in New Roads, and grew up in Baton Rouge, where she graduated from LSU. After raising 10 children, she moved to New Orleans, and then returned to Baton Rouge after the passing of her husband of 36 years, Frank T. Carroll, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aline G. Farr and Ned W. Farr, brother Ned W. Farr, Jr., sister Florence F. Southwick, son Frank T. (Ted) Carroll III, grandson Robert A. Carroll, and great-granddaughter Rebecca Ladner. She is survived by her sister Willyne F. Blanchard (Albert); children Mary Ann Carroll (Galen Lutz), Kathleen C. Robinson, Patricia A. Carroll, Clyde E. Carroll (Germaine), Malain C. Collins (Kevin), Lance T. Carroll (Debbie), Mark F. Carroll (Dinah Maygarden), Ellen C. Moller (John), and Kirk M. Carroll (Barbara); grandchildren Kim C. Ladner (Todd), Frank T. (Buddy) Carroll IV (Patricia), Vanessa C. Ohmes (Robert), Erin F. Stewart (David), Jessica A. Galimore (Justin), Kelly M. Thomas (Mitchell), Ashley C. Miranda (Edmund), and Lance T. Carroll, II. (Lacy); great grandchildren Allyson Ladner, Caroline Ladner, Elizabeth Ladner, Frank T. Carroll V, Anna Carroll, Ansley Carroll, Zoe E. Ohmes, Daisy I. Ohmes, Nicholas A. Ohmes, Blake P. Ohmes, Edmund Miranda, Jr., Aiyanna Miranda, Violet Carroll, and Lance T. Carroll, III. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm Monday, Dec. 29, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 749 East Blvd., Baton Rouge, followed by a Rosary at 1:30 pm and funeral Mass at 2:00 pm, with interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Agnes Catholic Church.
