Pearl Mae Knight

Pearl Mae Chidester Knight, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at the age of 97. Pearl loved to dance and attended the BREC dance every Tuesday. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be missed dearly by all that knew her. She is survived by her two sons, Wendell Knight of Baton Rouge and RC Knight and wife Paula of Jarreau, LA; grandchildren Kelly Sue Milam or Prairieville, LA, Stacie C. Farrow and husband Shane of Belleville, NE, Dave Knight of Dickinson, ND, Carla Knight of San Clemente CA, Debra Osgood and husband Edward of Chino, CA, Lynette Dymus and husband John of Victorville, CA, and Carrie Lynn Knight of Spring, TX; great-grandchildren, Devin Milam, Lindsey Ray Carlson, Tyler Cain, and Travis Cain. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carl Knight; son, Harold David Knight; sisters Mary Coats and Daisy Grayson; brother, Morris Chidester. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 9am until service at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
