Philip Michael Jones passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2025, at the age of 89. He was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. Philip honorably served his country in the Navy from 1955 to 1957; after serving, he worked at Ethel Corporation until his retirement.
Philip is survived by his children; Rudy Jones (Laura), Donnie Jones (Lauren), Sherrie Posey (Jimmy), Michael Damico (Colleen) and his sister Deborah Gregory; four grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Philip is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Janice Jones; parents Frank and Margaret Jones; sister Barbara Ladas; and brother Craig Jones.
Philip will be buried at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd Baton Rouge LA 70815 Monday, May 5th, at 11:00 in a graveside service.
