Graveside services for Randall "Randy" Hart Walker Sr., 72, of Baton Rouge, LA, will be held at 1:00PM Thursday, September 4, 2025 at New Salem Cemetery in Girard, LA, with Rev. Joel Brackett officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 6:00PM - 9:00PM at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Baton Rouge, LA.

Randy was a devoted son, husband, and father. Born June 11, 1953, he entered eternal rest on August 31, 2025. He proudly served in the U.S Army from 1973 - 1975. After his military service, he dedicated his life to protecting others, serving with honor and compassion throughout his entire career in law enforcement- beginning as a deputy with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sherriff's Office and retiring as a detective with the West Baton Rouge Parish Sherriff's Office.

Away from work, Randy found peace in life’s simple joys: casting a line into the lake, sipping coffee on the porch of his beloved lake house, and sharing quiet moments with his wife, whom he dearly loved and protected. His legacy lives on in his family’s strength, their stories, and the ripples across the water he cherished.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Frank V. and Cecile Oubre Walker; brothers, Frank Walker Jr., Wayne Walker, and Robert Walker; and sister, Linda Walker.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Elizabeth Doughtie Walker; sons, Hart, Heath, Stephen, Jeremy (Erin), Beau, and Larry Walters Jr. (Alicia); daughter, Angela Walters Lee (Jason); and sister, Deloris Walker Brown (Jim). He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Walker, Larry Walters Jr., Bryce Walters, Raymond Street; Heath Walker, Hart Walker. Honorary Pallbearers, Jason Lee, and Brandon Hodnett.
