Reynolds McKean Bromley, beloved son and dear brother, fiancé and friend to many, died peacefully at home on Monday, September 25, 2023. Reynolds was born in Baton Rouge, LA on May 18, 1984 and attended University High School from kindergarten until his 12th grade graduation. He then enrolled at the University of Mississippi where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and graduated with a degree in Managerial Finance. After graduation, Reynolds started an Interstate Battery franchise in Baton Rouge where his business grew quickly and was recognized as the company’s “Rookie of the Year.” He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and served on the board of directors of local non-profit Clean Pelican. Reynolds was kind to everyone and never knew a stranger. He lived each day with the spirit of God’s message “to love one another as I have loved you.” He was affectionately referred to as “Fun-cle Reyn” by his sister’s children who he enthusiastically joined on annual trips to Disney World. He had a smile that would light up a room and people would naturally gravitate towards him due to his easy-going nature, genuine interest in others and warm sense of humor. Always an enthusiastic LSU fan, he was a foodie who loved to travel and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends. He was an excellent cook who regularly hosted groups at his home to experience good food and the joy of being together. Reynolds is survived by his parents Virginia and Tom Bromley, his sister Lindsey Bromley Looke and her husband Steven, their two children Bromley and Carlyle, his Aunts B’lise Burlaos and Linda Holman, and his fiancé, Ashley Broha, who was the love of his life and soon to be wife in January 2024. Reynolds will be missed deeply by all who were blessed to have known him. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70806, followed by a memorial service at 2:00pm.
