Bobby was a retired Captain with the Baton Rouge City Fire Department, and was recently working with MAPP (Motor Assistance Patrol Program) as a supervisor. He died at 4:45pm Sunday, December 29, 2013, at his residence in Central. He was 58. He as an avid hunter and fisherman, and an all-around outdoorsman. Bobby was a very giving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved sports, especially LSU and the Saints football. Visitation will be held atRabenhorst Funeral Home East,Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Visitation will resume Friday from 9:00am until the religious service in the chapel at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, with honors provided by the Baton Rouge City Fire Department. Bobby is survived by his mother: Margaret Josie Noto Vidrine; son: Kyle Vidrine; sisters: Judy Vidrine, Diana Bell&husband LeRoy; brother: Tony Vidrine; and numerous nieces&nephews. He was preceded in death by his father: Martin Luther Vidrine, Sr.; sister: Melissa Parent; brother: Bubba Vidrine. Members of the Baton Rouge City Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
