Please accept our apologies for not having attended the funeral.I fondly remember your mom and dad and still think about our good times in the old neighborhood. I do understand your loss as I lost my dad in the war and of course all of our older generation. Our condolences and prayers to all of Buddy's family. We are relatives of Euna and so enjoyed getting to meet and spend time with Buddy. Our lives are blessed by having known him. May God comfort you during these difficult times and later bless you with wonderful memories.

Uncle Buddy was an amazing man who seemed to always have his priorities straight: god, country, family. His standards as an American Patriot inspire me to this day.  The countless stories shared between Buddy, Granddaddy, and my daddy Oran about World War II and the struggles that they endured often come to memory. These men were truly overcomers. Most of all, the devotion that they had to their families, and their children will always mean a great deal to me.  When I think of my uncle, he brings a smile to my face. He was always ready with a witty comeback, a funny story, or limerick, and was genuinely funny. He kept all of the family laughing at our family reunions and it was almost impossible to one-up him when it came to wit. I consider Uncle Buddy’s generation the last of the greatest Americans because of the values and principles they upheld in the U.S. As this generation takes their seats in heaven, I say thank you for what you contributed to our lives. I believe there was a great celebration when Buddy arrived in heaven, and the Lord said “well done, good and faithful servant”. For those of us left behind, may we champion our lives as a reflection of who they were and what they instilled in us. Love, Vicki 

Thanks to our heavenly Father, I have had the honor to call you "Uncle Buddy" my entire life. My memories of you are compiled of an example of true love, unending humor, stories of your mischief, and pure joy added to my childhood.  I will miss the wonderful family times we all had at our reunions;  hanging on your every word to hear what you might say next. God gave you so many gifts and talents!! Thank you for sharing them all with us, we miss you and love you more than you know! I'm sure our Father said "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Rest in Peace Uncle Buddy, I love you! Mark, Robin & girls, you're in our thoughts and prayers. What an amazing legacy of love you have been given.
