Ronald “Ronnie” Alfred Berthelot, Sr. passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the age of 81. He was a native and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Ronnie is survived by his children, Ronnie Jr., Theda Marie, Cory, and Tina Rispone(Rodi); grandchildren, Ronnie III (Linsey), Jessica Dufour (Jason), Ashley Gerald (Jay), Cody Cooper (Danielle), Kye Grant, Neely, Sophia, and Brody; great-grandchildren, Rylea, Layna, Ethan, Evan, Ava, Alexis, Lahna, Lydia, and Scarlett; siblings, Bit (Carolyn), Carol, and Barbara Anderson (Steve); and a host of other loving family members. Ronnie is preceded in death by his son, Danny Berthelot; granddaughter, Rachel Marie; wife, Judy Berthelot; parents, Bill and Annie Berthelot; and brother, Boo Berthelot. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 4pm until 7pm. Visitation will resume at Greenoaks on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 8am until the time of funeral services at 9am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
