Rosa Hart Thomas

Rosa Hart Thomas passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at the Carpenter House, Baton Rouge, LA. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Rosa is survived by her son, Danny L. Hart; sister, Ellen Frascino; daughter-in-law, Karen P. Hart; grandchildren, Casie Hart, David Hart, Jaime Hart and Ashley Hart; great-grandchild, Liam Hart; daughter-in-law, Patricia B. Thomas; and grandchildren, Mike Thomas, Kim T. Kelly, and Brett Thomas. She is preceded in death by her son, Emmitt Gerald Hart; her first husband, Emmitt Jewel Hart; and her second husband, Woodrow Wilson Thomas. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East Chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 from 6pm until 9pm and resumes on Sunday, Sept. 29th, from 10am until religious services at 11am conducted by her grandson, Brett Thomas. Graveside services will follow at 3pm Sunday in Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Pallbearers will be David Hart, Mike Thomas, Brett Thomas, Lester Strange, Kenneth Callender and Jeff Callender.
