
She was a loving and deeply faithful wife and mother whose departure from this world will be mourned by everyone who knew her. A dental hygienist, Rose Anne Deumite DeLeo passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenter. She was a native of Oakdale and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at St. Jude Catholic Church on Friday, April 27, from 9 a.m.until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m.Entombment in St. George Catholic Church Mausoleum. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" DeLeo of Baton Rouge; father, Louis Deumite; two daughters, Sarah DeLeo and Allie DeLeo, both of Baton Rouge; sister, Libby Deumite Chop of Winnfield; two brothers, N. Joseph Deumite and Marty Deumite, both of Baton Rouge; and nieces and nephews, Eryn Chop Milam, Cody Chop, Haley Chop, Kate Deumite, Louis Deumite, John Deumite, Kier DeLeo and Connor DeLeo. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Deumite. Pallbearers will be John Deumite, Louis Deumite, Cody Chop, Bradley Milam, Dominic Calato and David Karam. Honorary pallbearer is Sloan Deumite. She was a member of St. Jude Church and the National Charity League. Rose Anne's down-to-earth, witty personality and devotion to her family and parish of St. Jude will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children'sResearchHospital. Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., is in charge of arrangements.
