

She was born on May 5, 1938, in Bevier, Missouri, to Elmer Seghi and Rose Mercedes Ronchetto Seghi. Rose devoted her life to caring for others, serving as a Registered Nurse and later as a Director of Nurses. Her compassion, strength, and quiet dedication touched countless lives. A woman of deep faith, Rose was a devoted Catholic who found comfort and guidance in her relationship with God. Her faith shaped the way she lived, loved, and served others, and remained a steady source of peace throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy E. Kron Jr., and her parents. Rose is survived by her three sons: Roy E. Kron III of Baton Rouge; Rodney E. (Lydia) Kron of Cartersville, Georgia; and Randy E. (Loretta) Kron of Spokane, Washington. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bryan Kron of Cartersville, Georgia; Emily Kron Bonifacio of Nashville, Tennessee; Michael Kron of Hanford, California; and Jack Kron of Los Angeles, California; and her brother, Donald (Doris) Seghi of Sterling, Colorado. Visitation will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on January 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on January 2, 2026, at 12:15 p.m. The family extends special thanks to the compassionate staff of Flannery Oaks Guest House and Lifesource Hospice for their care, kindness, and support. In faith, we entrust Rose to the loving arms of our Lord, confident that she has been welcomed home and reunited with those who went before her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in her memory.
