Rosella Francois Rhodes passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. She was 84 years old and a native of Marksville, LA and a resident of Central. Visitation at Zoar Baptist Church in Central on Friday, Feb. 17 from 5 p.m. till 9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 18 from 9 a.m. till services at 11:00 a.m. Burial immediately following at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery. She is survived by son Lesley Rhodes and wife Patsy; daughter Virginia Duplessis and husband Steve; son Matt Rhodes and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Kyle Rhodes, Kristi Viola, Brandon and Whitney Rhodes, Mark and Rachel Duplessis, Erik and Tracey Duplessis, and Pam and Shane Martinez. Great-grandchildren, Charleigh Rhodes, Matthew Rhodes, Ella Duplessis, Brooke and Sophie Duplessis and Laci Martinez; and great great-grandchild Dominick Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Edward Rhodes; In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Home.
