Ross Clay Porter was born in Ann Arbor, MI and was a resident of Baton Rouge. He passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the age of 54. He is survived by his mother Donna Porter, father William Porter, brother Scott Porter (Anne), sister Lisa Reifert (Fritz), nephew Eric Reifert, niece Mary Reifert. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 9 in the Aldrich Chapel at the First United Methodist Church, 930 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge with visitation beginning at 10 am and service at 11 am. Ross was well-known for his sense of humor and his kindness. He will be greatly missed.
