Roy Lester Johnson

Roy Lester Johnson passed away on October 3, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends. After years of service, Roy was retired from Southern Earth Sciences. He enjoyed watching LSU football and baseball and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bessie Louise Trichel Johnson; children, Stephannie Campbell (David), Kathy Frederick (Larry), Christopher Johnson, Lori Ann Johnson; grandchildren, Myles Legg (Chrissy), Zachary Legg; brother, Shelton Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by children, Mark Wayne Johnson, Amy Carol Johnson; parents, Jessie Jackson Johnson, Pearlie Ann Regions Johnson and siblings, J.R. Johnson, Jim Johnson, Bernice Hay, Tilman Johnson, Lawrence Johnson, Joe Mae Rayburn and Fayette MacBurney. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East (11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA) on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 9:00 am until services begin at 11:00 am.
