Ruth Jansen Byers

Ruth Jansen Byers, age 99, of Pride, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Ruth was born in New Orleans on September 14, 1921. Ruth is survived by son James Byers (Tracy); daughter Carol Ruth Byers; and daughter Dottie Boeneke (sonny); three grandchildren; Chuck Boeneke (Zsazsa), Sher’e D’antoni (Joseph) and Matt Byers; great-grandchildren, Nick, Tim, and Chris Boeneke, Ryan and Carson D’antoni. Preceded in death by her husband James “Jimmy” Byers, Sr. The family would like to thank Hospice Of Baton Rouge especially nurse Dana Pate. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2020 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florid Blvd from 11 am until funeral Service at 2 pm in the chapel. Interment in Bethel Cemetery.
