Beloved mother, grandmother and sister, she slipped away to live with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was a native of Brazil, Ind., and a resident of Baton Rouge. She left us three months prior to her 98th birthday. She lived quietly, prayed mightily and walked with holy angels. Ruth will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends. Though we are saddened by her leaving yet we know that she has graduated from death unto life. "O death, where is thy sting. O grave, where is thy victory? For to be absent from the body is to be present with Christ." Survived by a daughter, Shirley Singer and husband Clifford Singer; son, Jim E. Clark Sr. and wife Luella Clark; grandchildren, Pam Dentro, Jim E. Clark Jr. and wife Tracie, Terri Poche and husband Ronnie, Dr. Gordon Clark and Jeffrey Clark Sr.; great-grandchildren, Jim E. Clark III, Jessica Dentro Harold and husband Cory, Christopher Clark, Kara Dentro, Michael Poche, Chase Poche, Jeffrey Clark Jr. and Anna Katherine Clark; a sister, Dorothy Bryant and husband Mickey; a brother, Fred Kellum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
