Mr. Bonfanti earned a degree in theology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He was the President/CEO of National Integrity Sales College, Inc. until his retirement and a former Police Chaplain in Avoyelles Parish. He was, also, a past member of the Civil Air Patrol and the Baton Rouge Amateur Radio Club.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Bonfanti; sons, Shawn Bonfanti and his wife, Hanh Thai, Gregory Bonfanti and one daughter, Melanie Bonfanti; grandchildren, Ian and Hallie Bonfanti and Mersing Bonfanti.
He is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Bonfanti; mother, Mary Corrent Bonfanti Percy; and brother, A.J. Bonfanti.
A private service will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Companion Animal Alliance (CAA) at caabr.org/donate/.
Interment will take place at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
