A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Sharon (Sheri) died peacefully at home Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, after a long illness. A native of Blakely, PA., she was born January 30, 1957, to Mr. and Mrs. Edmund R. Tylenda. She is survived by her husband Clayton; father Edmund; daughter Devon Broussard and husband Jay; son James Ellis and granddaughter Astrid Ellis. She is preceded in death by her mother Donnis. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church on Monday, Feb. 10 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Tom Ranzino, celebrant; visitation at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. George Mausoleum.
