Shirley, you was my mother-in-law, my kid's grandma ( one even named after you),my friend, even a second mom at times. I first met you in late 1976. You've been in my life for 45 year's. We had good times, sad times, and even always didn't agree, but we loved each other. I'll miss talking to you, and did keep some of your voicemails so I can hear your voice when I miss you a lot. I know you're going to be busy visiting with all your family that you've been missing for so long and friends. I wasn't able to make the trip for your birthday or your last days, I however did talk to you before, and while you was at the Lady of the Lake, Baton Rouge General & Hospise. I was so Thankful that Shirley Ann, Billie Jo, 3 great grands was able to ,and that they was able to get Torie and Joey to come and be with you since May 29 the. I was also Thankful you did get to meet your grandson Tommy ( Billy's son) & his wife Tonya. I love you and you continue watching over us. We'll take care of Misty your baby. She's missing you and knows something has happened.
Love, Shellia

Shirley,I told you I finally had a vehicle to come see you ,but that you would be getting a surprise for your birthday on June 1,2021. You said or you sending me something good to eat, I said no ,the vehicle broke me that I don't even have gas money. I was planning on coming with the kids and grandkids to surprise you. I'm glad you got to meet Ralph ,he loved talking to you on the phone. 3 of 4 did get to see you and Boogie was upset he didn't get to .Just another thought . The 3 bigger ones remember us going to the zoo , museum and other things when we come.
