

Shirley Wilson Vickers Hall died on November 27, 2025 at the age of 89. She was born February 10, 1936 in Brookhaven, MS, but was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge where she graduated from Istrouma High School and Baton Rouge Trade School. She retired from Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation after 25 years of service. She leaves behind her husband David A. Hall, her brother and sister-in-law, William and Sherry Wilson of Denham Springs, two sisters-in-law, Linda and Spencer Farmer and Brenda Rohner and numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces, and great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her first husband Alvin Floyd "Vick" Vickers; her parents Buford Thomas Wilson and Dorothy Margaret Loyd, two brothers Robert "Bobby" Wilson and James "Larry" Wilson. Shirley was a member Jefferson Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Visitation will be at the Greenoaks Funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 Tuesday December 2, 2025, and continue from 9:00 to 11:00 December 3 with services to follow at 11:00 December 3 conducted by Dr. David Goza. Interment will be in The Greenoaks Memorial Park. Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers: Trey and Drew Argrave, Kevin Cotten and Austin Napoli and Brent and Brennan LeBlanc.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, located at 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on December 2, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on December 3, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
A committal service will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, on December 3, 2025, from 11:45 am to 12:00 pm.
