Retired TV director for WAFB Channel 9 for 34 years, he died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007. He was 82, a resident of Baton Rouge, a native of Cottonport and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Sunday, Nov. 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by Deacon James Wax. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen L. and Bert Durel, of Bellaire, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Susan Lemoine, of Denham Springs and Danny and Tammy Lemoine, of Maurepas; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Preceded in death by his wife, Olive Juneau Lemoine; parents, George R. and Pearl Lemoine; granddaughter, Taryn Lemoine; two brothers and three sisters. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
