He was an employee of East Baton Rouge Parish City Government, where he worked in the Central Garage (DPW) for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Melanie Rogers; daughter, Ashley Rogers; son, Gabriel Rogers; 2 brothers, Jospeh Willis and Louis Willis; father, Gerald Rogers; and 2 siblings.
He is preceded in death by his step-father and mother, Norman and Martha Willis; and brother, David Rogers.
Visiting hours will be observed on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visiting hours will resume on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 10am to 12pm with a Funeral Service at 12pm.
Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
