Manager of Lagniappe Antiques and a Draftsman at Capitol Home Planners died on Friday May 3, 2013 at St. Clare Manor after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was 57, a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Greenwell Springs. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 5 pm until 8 pm with a family eulogy at 7 pm. Burial will be in St. Paul Catholic Church Cemetery in Mansura at a later date under the direction of Escude Funeral Home. She is survived by two daughters, Maggie Bell and Jessica Juge; son, Christopher Ducote; sister, Mari Freeman; two brothers, John and Michael Guillory; and six grandchildren. Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Ducote and was a long time member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
