

Taylor Nicole Chappell-Favaron, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Central, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 3, 2011 at the age of 15. She attended Central High School, where she was a member of the power lifting team and recently placed first in her first competition. Taylor also enjoyed soccer, fishing, shooting guns and four-wheeling. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend who will be missed dearly by many. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Sherry and Dean Loyd; Her father and stepmother, Michael and Jennifer Favaron; half sister, Charlsey Loyd; half brother, Chaz Loyd; step sister, Jasmine Mouhot; maternal grandparents, Charles and Linda Chappell; grandmother, Lenora Loyd; paternal grandmother, Margaret Favaron; many close friends including, Morgan McKey, Cheyenne Burkett, and D’Shay Burkett; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles Sidney Favaron; and great grandmother, Lilly Sibley. Visitation was held Wednesday February 8, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm. Visitation will resume Thursday February 9, 2012 at Greenoaks Funeral Home from 8:30am until service at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be members of the Central High male power Lifting team: Alex Frank, Joey Jarreau, Ashton Stokes, Taylor Conrad, Thomas Willis, and John Davis.
