A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at Woman's Hospital. She was 42 and a nurse for 17 years. She was most recently employed with Lakeview Home Care. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, Aug. 7, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Monday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Frank Bass, celebrant. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her father and mother, Edmund J. and Dolores Boudreaux Capello; a daughter, Brittany Ann Barcelona; a brother and sister-in-law, Sean Paul Capello and Tami Dugas Capello; two nieces; a nephew; godmother, Lillian Magee; and former husband, Louis Barcelona. The family especially thanks Woman's Hospital, the 6th floor nurses and staff, and Dr. Fort and his wonderful staff. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society. >
