
Troy Edward Ewing, age 36, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on December 13, 2015, at his home. Troy was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church for over 30 years. He was an avid LSU fan, enthusiastically cheering on his beloved LSU Tigers. Troy loved parties and any opportunities to socialize with his large family and numerous friends, including those from Tuesdays with Kevin. Troy had a great sense of humor, often eavesdropping and pulling tricks on people. He loved to cook, garden, and go camping with his mom, dad and sister. Troy was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Troy is survived by his mother, Julie M. Nesbit of Baton Rouge; his brothers, M. Sean Ewing of Denham Springs, LA, Marc J. Boudreaux of Lawrenceville, GA, Beau D. Boudreaux (Dorothy) of Columbia, SC; his sisters, Dawn E. Mills (Allan) of Cookeville, TN, Tammy L. Ewing of Albuquerque, NM, Kristen J. Maxfield (Dave) of Columbia, SC, and Martine M. Boudreaux of Summerville, SC.; and 11 nieces and nephews, Patrick and Stephen Mills of Cookeville, TN, Beau Thompson and Blake Ewing of Carriere, MS, Nicholas Ewing of Denham Springs, LA, Grayson, Alex, and Juliette Maxfield, Olivia and Lauren Boudreaux of Columbia, SC, and Emma Ewing of Albuquerque, NM; and his very special friends and caregivers, Doris Coats and Wikeyla "Keke" Brooks. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth W. Ewing; birth mother, Margaret "Peggy" Morris Ewing; Grandparents, Forrest and Esther Ewing, Bob and Virginia Morris, and Boots and Madeline Nesbit; and sister Laura Ann Ewing. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 5 pm until 8 pm. Visiting will resume on Wednesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church at 9 am and will continue until Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, celebrated by Rev. Donald Blanchard. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Louisiana Assistive Technology Access Network (LATAN).
