Born on January 29, 1976, in Michoacán, Mexico, Valeria’s life was marked by immense hardship from a young age. Forcefully torn from her mother’s arms by her father, she endured relentless suffering at the hands of those who were meant to protect her. She faced domestic violence, cruelty, and multiple attempts on her life as a child. Yet, despite the darkness of her early years, God had greater plans for her. She rose above the pain, transforming her suffering into strength, and became a beacon of hope and inspiration for many.
Twenty-six years ago, she made the brave decision to seek a better future for her family, a journey that shaped the lives of her children and left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Valeria is survived by her beloved children: Janet Rafaela Tapia Muñoz (born in 1995), Miguel Tapia (born in 1997), Oliver Muñoz (born in 2012), and Jesse Alexander Muñoz (born in 2014). She also carries in her heart the memory of her son Johnny Muñoz, who passed away at just three days old in 2010.
Through all the trials she faced, Valeria remained a loving mother, a compassionate soul, and a source of boundless strength. She sacrificed endlessly to ensure her children had love and opportunities, embodying resilience and unwavering devotion. Her legacy is one of courage, perseverance, and deep, unconditional love.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Rest in peace, Valeria. You are deeply missed and eternally loved.
