"You're my mother and my best friend from the beginning to the end; With God's help my heart will mend Till one day I'll see you again." Virginia Hatton Eppinett, born in Sapupla, OK. And a resident of Baton Rouge, LA., passed away on Monday, August 10, 2014 at the age of 88 years old. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who is survived by her daughter, Brenda Eppinett; grandchildren, Kendra May and husband, Tim, Kacie Walker and husband, Jason, Kade Jeffirs, and Tyler and Tanner Eppinett; great grandchildren, Derrian and Sydnie Paxton and Rachel May, Jaxon and Ailynn Walker; and sisters, Joan Moore and Naomi Nolan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie L. Eppinett; son, Richard Laney Eppinett; brother, J.W. Hatton; and parents, James and Thelma Hatton. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 9AM until funeral service at 12PM. Interment will follow on the ground of Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Keith and Jeff Cook, Tim May, Jason Walker, and Tyler and Tanner Eppinett.
