A resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died at 7:18 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 67, born May 20, 1943. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, March 28, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 29, from 10 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at noon. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Preceded in death by her parents, George Wilbert West and Evelyn Argue West. Survived by three daughters, Tanya Kennedy, Monette Wagner, and special daughter, Lezlie Buteaux; brother, George Wilbert "G.W." West and wife Margaret "Cookie"; sisters, Marilyn Mendoza, and Evelyn Dianne Guidry and husband Mike; five grandchildren, great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Michael Wayne West.
