Warren Emerson Bowman

Warren Emerson Bowman, II, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. A native of Greenville, Ohio and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, he was a Technical Engineer at Entec Polymers. He is survived by his wife, Sheila Brooks Bowman; children and their spouses, Jeff and Renee Bowman, Jon and Rochelle Bowman, David and Elizabeth Bowman, Jennifer and Marisa Bowman-Frye, and Emilie Bowman and Kevin McBride; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Katalind, Claire, Ryan, Madison, Sarah, Rachel, and Hugh Bowman; brother, Jim Bowman and Laura Gaddy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eula M. and Dr. Warren E. Bowman. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Rabenhorst with visiting starting at 9:00 AM. Services will be officiated by Fr. Bob Stine of Christ the King Catholic Church. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the nurses and doctors of the Baton Rouge General ICU, and the 5th and 6th floors, with a very special thanks to Dr. O'Neill, who was truly a gift to us. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
