
A retired manager with Consolidated Companies, he died at 2:22 a.m.Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Mid City. He was 82, a resident of Baton Rouge, a native of Hester, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Catholic Church Saturday at 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Alexander J. "Alec" Sheldon, celebrant. Interment inGreenoaksMemorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Marion Bourgeois Landry; children, Gary C. Landry and wife Sandra, Ronald P. Landry and wife Debra, Jennifer A. Landry and husband Jerry Kniphfer, and Randal W. Landry and wife Sally; grandchildren, Barry Landry, Lori Wilson, Courtney Landry, Scott Landry, Teri Meliet, Douglas Landry, David Landry, Jarek Kniphfer, Kacey Schmoock, Ashley Rabalais and Lessie Stone; great-grandchildren, Dalton Wilson, Dylan Meliet, Katelyn Meliet, Ian Schmoock and Lily Stone; brother, Russell C. Landry of Harrahan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement F. Landry and Edvige Miller Landry; and a sister, Dorothy Tamplain.
