
Tom was proud to be involved with the Boy Scouts of America and was a faithful parishioner of St Aloysius Catholic Church. He was also the proud founder and proprietor of Tom Burnett Real Estate Services. An avid cat owner, Tom fostered and cared for many cats, which brought him joy. He loved the outdoors and especially cherished time at his camp at False River, where boating and fishing were among his favorite pastimes. He was always helping those in need, regardless of his own situation, offering support in ways that were sincere and generous.
Tom is survived by his wife, Linda; his sons, William and Nathan (Bethany); his sister, Karen; his brother-in-law, Brad; sister-in-law, Laura; his nieces, Amanda, Alivia, Carlee and his nephews, Robby and Jeremy; along with many great nieces, nephews and cousins from across the country.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. William "Bill" Thomas Burnett, Jr.; his mother, Mary Manzari Burnett; his brother-in-law, Rick; and his nephew, Jonathan.
Relatives and friends are invited to Rabenhorst Funeral Home on Government St. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, for a memorial gathering from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Inurnment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
