A native of Ventress, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died on Saturday, September 14, 2013, at 5:45pm. He was one week shy of his 97th birthday. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He was a retired furniture salesman, who enjoyed woodworking and building swings. Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland, from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment will follow at Chenal Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Bernice Bueche "Bea Bea" LeBeau; by his parents, Charles LeBeau and Eve Chenevert LeBeau; and by 2 nephews. Survivors include 3 Godchildren, 13 nieces and nephews, 27 great-nieces and nephews, and 22 great-great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Glen Bueche, Monty Bueche, Scotty Dykes, Doug Newsom, David Lemoine, and Mike Bueche. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Dykes, Charles Diffey, Steve Carter, and John Carter.
