Yvonne Wascom Heath, 89, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home, Denham Springs, surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Denham Springs and a native of Hall. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Heath. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., (225) 272-9950, on Monday, June 14, was from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes in the funeral home chapel Tuesday from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her loving family: son and daughter-in-law, Sam Michael and Marla M. Digirolamo, of Denham Springs; three grandchildren, Angela Digirolamo Ott, Rebekah L. Digirolamo and Samantha Digirolamo Broussard; and three great-grandchildren, Mallory Rose Ott, Reid Michael and Rileigh Lynn Broussard. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Heath; parents, Nolen and Nancy Hood Wascom; two sisters, Rosylean Wascom Morgan and Dula Mae Wascom; and brother, Newman Wascom. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Broussard, Van Foster Jr., Van Foster III, George Meadors, Vernon White and Dewayne Digirolamo. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Ott Jr., Nelson P. Morgan and J.V. Efferson. The family of Yvonne W. Heath would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Harvest Manor Nursing Home for their love and special care given to Maw Maw.
