Our dear sweet mother, Adela Gonzalez Ramirez, peacefully passed away at home on January 18, 2025 at the age of 85. Mom had a heart of gold and was always there when you needed her the most. Mom was there to listen and offer support. Her love had no boundaries.
Mom, we will miss you dearly we will cherish you and the memories we’ve shared. We love you Mom and we will see you again in heaven.
Adela was born to Adolfo and Simona Gonzalez on January 3, 1940. Adela was married to Gregorio G. Ramirez for 35 years before his passing in May 1994. They lived together in Baytown, Texas where they raised their seven children.
Adela was preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Ramirez, sons Armando Ramirez, Arturo Jose Ramirez, and Mauricio Alejandro Ramirez.
She is survived by her children, Gregory Ramirez and spouse Sita of Seabrook, Texas, Carlos Ramirez of Baytown, Texas, Hector Severo Ramirez and spouse Barbara of Vermilion, Ohio, and daughter Patricia Araceli De Leon and spouse Ruben of Von Ormy, Texas. Her legacy lives on through her 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A chapel service will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 am at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
