

Allen, or Scooter as his family called him, was born in Conroe, Texas on May 29th, 1945. God called him home to Heaven on Monday, April 21st at his home in Baytown, Texas.
Waiting for Allen to celebrate a life well lived in Glory, was his wife of 48 years, Lillian. His parents, Allen, Sr. and Katherine Moorhead; his sister Mickey Lakota and brother Robert Moorhead, along with many brothers and sisters in Christ.
Allen left Huber Carbon Black plant in Baytown after twenty years and became a full time Minister of the Gospel. He brought hope to prisons throughout Texas for thirty-four years and held monthly “Care Meetings” at his home in Baytown for nearly as long. Allen was the President and Founder of Wheels for Jesus Motorcycle Ministry and Eagle Ministries.
Allen and Lil had no children by birth but many hundreds by spiritual rebirth as he spread the gospel with a heart for the lost.
Allen was faithful, loving, humble, kind, patient, forgiving, peaceful, steadfast, caring, generous, funny, serious, diligent, godly and obedient. He was a preacher, a builder, a teacher, and mechanic; a brother in Christ, a Spiritual Father and a friend.
A visitation for Allen will be held Friday, April 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521. A graveside service will occur Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Kidd Cemetery, 10658 Meachen Road, Conroe, Texas 77302.
