Annie Lou Mazac Robberson, born November 1, 1943, died March 26, 2025, in her home surrounded by family. Annie was the only daughter of Frank J. and Annie H. (Uherek) Mazac and was a lifelong resident of Crosby, Texas and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church her entire life. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School from first through eighth grades and graduated from Crosby High School in 1961. Go Buffalos! Annie loved to dance and sing. She learned to play the piano from Sister Adrianna while in grade school and played the piano and organ for many masses and special occasions at Sacred Heart.
Annie is preceded in death by her husband Larry L. Vick, her parents Frank J. and Annie H. Mazac, her brothers Roland Mazac and James Mazac, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Annie is survived by her daughters Letitia Rogers (DonL) and Diana Beckham (James); her grandchildren Sam Hinton, Jr. (Rebekah), Marley Brill (Ryan), David Hinton (Magdiel), Lyndian Belz (Shane) and Jacob Beckham (Chelsea); and her great-grandchildren Faith Hinton, Carson Brooks, Brayden Hinton, Jaxon Brill, and Sofia Hinton; sisters-in-law Merrill Vick and Marsha Tower.
Much appreciation to Father Emmanuel and Judy Humphries from Sacred Heart for their home visits to offer communion and prayer and to Heritage Hospice, their employees Kaylee, Maria and Rosie, and to caregiver Pam Coleman for the help and support given in Annie’s final days.
Services will be on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 915 Runneburg Road, Crosby, Texas 77532. Visitation is at 10:00 AM, rosary will be said at 10:30 AM, and a funeral mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Annie will be laid to rest at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521 following the funeral mass.
