You were my 5th grade teacher at Lamar and was always one of my favorites ever. Even after high school and things you were always amazing to me. I found myself thinking about you and wish you could see what I have become in life and know you would be proud. Thank you for being my teacher and most of all my friend.

I knew Becky while we were in college.She was truly a wonderful person.I am very sorry for her loss.

Becky and I taught together and were friends many years ago.

I received an e-mail today and wish I had known earlier, I would love to have joined you all in sharing our memories of Becky. I met Becky at the ""Balboa"" in 1979. She was the official greeter and social director. She and the other Balboa girls took great care of the lost guys of clear lake. They  decorated my appartment, cooked for us and always were there to celebrate our birthdays etc.Becky was on my chili and gumbo cook-off teams and we had so much fun. What great friends and memories. I am sad that I did not stay in touch the last few years.God Bless You Becky, Milton Tarver

I was so saddened to read online of Becky's passing.  It brought me all the way back to high school.  I marched with Becky in the Lee Brigadier drumline for three years.  She was in my group of close friends and I remember her always having a smile on her face.  Seeing her picture just now, I realize she looked the same.  Still smiling.  From reading the letters it sounds like she was very important to a lot of people.  My heart goes out to you.

I'm sorry that Bill and I were unable to attend Becky's memorial.  We were out of the country at the time. However, thanks to Marsha, I was able to talk to Becky on the phone just before we left. Becky and I had some really good times during our Balboa and Austin days.  She was also a wonderful ""Aunt"" to Stacey and Shay.  I will miss our Christmas holiday lunches and late night talks. She was truly a good friend.

I did not know her very very well, however, we all grew up as young adults back in the early 70s. I always enjoyed Becky's company.

I love you and I want you to know that I am very proud of you for being so strong and fighting your illness the best you could.  I only wish that I had one more day with you, every day, so we laugh and share every moment that was available between us.

Please accept my deepest condolences.  Ms. Renaud was a wonderful teacher with a lively sprit.  I will never forget her she made my youth memorable.  God Bless and my prayers are with you.

I'm really going to miss you lady.  It just will not be the same without you.  Many wonderful memories of you and our escapades.

I am Marsha Fredenberg's brother. I met Becky a few times. She always seemed so sweet.

From our early childhood through our adult years we have been wonderful friends.  You are and have always been a large part of my life.  I miss you already, Becky, but I am thankful that you are no longer in pain and misery.  Have a wonderful reunion with your family who are there to welcome you.  We will certainly meet again some day--until then bon voyage.

Becky was my first cousin and will be truely missed by me and my family also.  She was a sweet lady who stood up for what she thought was right. She touched many young lives through her teaching profession and has helped inspire at least one other young lady in her family to pick up the torch. I like to think of Becky being with her Mother Palma; Aunts Celestine  and Sitaska, Uncles Francis, Jody, Gerald and Rip;Paw Paw Riley and Grandma Holder; Aunt Billie; Cousins Dane and Clay who have all gone on before her. She is not alone.

Becky was a treasured friend and ""second mom"" to me. She was the most giving and positive person that I knew. We were known to each other as ""Lucy and Ethel"". We would go on an adventure every summer and always had a funny memory to cherish. She would always tell me the strengths of every person she knew and bragged about them as though she was the ""proud parent"". She got such joy in her family and friends, despite what  all people  knew. She was the ""unsinkable soul"". A person who faced any challenge with hope,humor,and heart. Becky loved people and never met a stranger. The most important thing to Becky was her relationships with her friends and family. She was the social event planner at school and home because it meant time spent with the ones that she loved. She loved to travel because it meant meeting more people and sharing moments with her favorite people. She loved the calming peace that the beach brought and the beauty of the hill country. She loved life and wanted to share that zeal with her closest friends. She always brought out the best in her dearest friends and was everyone's ""cheerleader"". She will always have a special place in my heart and the time we spent together was priceless. I know it is now time for her to spend with her mom for a lifetime of priceless memories that will last for eternity as I have had the pleasure to share with her, here on earth.

Prentice-I was so sad to read about Becky’s passing in the newspaper this morning. I know you feel a great loss. Becky was a wonderful friend in years past, and I have many special memories of good times together which I will always treasure. She spread happiness wherever she went. I remember spending the night with her many times when we were in elementary school. Becky liked to sleep late, and I usually woke up long before she did so I would try to be quiet and still so I wouldn’t disturb her. I also remember going to the Brunson Theater with her for the children’s matinees and taking sack lunches of bologna sandwiches, dill pickles and lemon slices that Palma made for us. We were blessed to grow up in times when simple things like these made lasting memories. 
Mother, John and I will be remembering you and the rest of Becky’s family in our prayers in the weeks ahead. We will also be sending a donation in Becky’s memory to the American Cancer Society as you requested. We send our love to you, and we know that Becky rests in peace with our precious Lord. I was very sorry to read about Becky's passing.I remember all the good old days at the Balboa.She was our social director and kept her sense of humor till the end.She will be greatly missed.My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time. Becky....I've thought about you often over the years, as I always will, just a few of which are every time I'm in the Hill Country and when ever I'm at an I-Hop. I know that God has reserved a very special place near Him just for you.
