Bill Blake was an outstanding person, friend, and father figure to many, including myself.

I've always believed that this world is a better place because of the ""Blake Boys."" Smokey Joe, Bobby Dean, and Bill have been a good part of my life for over 40 years. My God rest their souls and comfort their families.

Very sorry for your loss. He was a very good friend of my mom, Jeannie Ressler, and my Dad, the late L.D. ""Cowboy"" Ressler. I, too, knew Mr. Blake. I purchased a camper cover from him several years ago.  He was always such a friendly guy who helped my mother purchase several vehicles over the years.

I got to know Mr. Blake while working for Don Coffey.  He was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by the community.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time.

You have my deepest sympathy for you and your loss.  I have so many fond memories of Bill since I spent probably half my childhood at your house.  Keen insight, wry humor and a staight shooter are all phrases that come to mind when thinking of Bill Blake. Definitely one of a kind and he will be missed.

The passing of Bill Blake is a loss to the City of Baytown and its people.

Where do I begin? I met Mr. Blake when he came onto our Hospice Services 13 months ago. I had just began to work for Hospice (not knowing what I was getting myself into) and Mr. Blake happen to be my first patient that was assigned to me! So I made my first visit to him at his home.....and we connected  immediately. Every since that day 13 months ago, I began seeing Mr. Blake 3 times a week, sometimes 5 times a week. Over the past year I became very close to Mr. Blake, and looked forward to our visits, knowing that by the time I left he would have made the rest of my day with his smile, charm, and most of all-his humor. All this said, I lost someone very special to me on Oct.31,2006. I can never be grateful enough for the chance to have met Mr. Blake. He has forever changed my life, and holds a special place in my heart. I just wish I would have had the chance to meet him under different circumstances, but I know Mr. Blake is in a much better place now and the pain is gone. 
 Mrs. Blake, Charlie and Glenn- I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. My prayers are with you daily and know that Mr. Blake loved you very very much! If it's one thing that we talked about most, it was his family. Mr. Blake is the reason I do my job with pride. God Bless You.

My name is Michelle, I met Mr. Blake when I became his Care-Taker 7 months ago while he was staying in LaPorte Health Care Center. I have only known Mr. Blake for a short period of time, but seems like much longer. I wish we could have met under different circumstance, but I feel God called me to do a special job when I was called to look after Mr. Blake. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with Mrs. Blake and her famliy.

I am writing on behalf of my late father, Jimmy ""Lynn"" Cox.  I remember my dad thought a lot of Mr. Bill Blake and bought many cars from him, including my first car.  My condolences and prayers go out to your family during this time.

I had the privilege of working for Bill on a part time basis at his dealership back in '02 and '03. The first car Bill sold me was a '66 Mustang in '68.  Through the years he has been a man of principle and honesty, and the automotive industry in Baytown has lost an example of what a car dealer should be.

I have many fond memories of growing up, and some of the best involve Uncle Bill.  Whenever I would come to Liberty to see my grandparents, even as an adult, Bill would always make the effort to come and see me and share his wonderful wit and character (and lots of Bill Blake bumper stickers and calendars).  I have great memories of my grandfather, Joe, and his brothers and sister, and each of them is dearly missed by all of us who were lucky enough to have been a part of their lives.  With deepest sympathy.

Tonite I read in the Liberty paper about Bill's Homegoing.  I was visiting Mrs. Claude Burrell and she started telling me about her experiences with the Blake Family.  Bill was just a wonderful business example to others.  I have been blessed to know him.  Bill is gone BUIT God has allowed us to keep such wonderful memories such as Mother was telling me tonite.
