Burlen Cody Ratliff, 74, of Baytown, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013. Born on Dec. 13, 1938, in Lufkin, TX, he was a very successful businessman and entrepreneur. He owned and operated Ratliff Auto Sales in Baytown for over 20 years. He had a tremendous love for the outdoors and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Louise Ratliff; son, Marlon Ratliff and wife Georganne; son, Clint Ratliff and wife Stephanie; daughter, Vicky Melo and husband Nelson; son, Mark Ratliff and wife Donna; and daughter, Margret Buck and husband Michael, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow at 6:00 p.m.
