Charlie Gilbert Harrell Jr.

Charlie Gilbert Harrell, Jr. (CG), 83, of Baytown, TX, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 18, 2012. He was born in Louisiana, on Feb. 27, 1929. While serving in the Army, he met and married the love of his life, Sadie Harrell on April 30, 1950. After leaving the Army, he was a life-long rice farmer. He was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Sadie Mae Harrell; two sons, Jerry Harrell and Jack Harrell; three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by a daughter, Judy Fuller and husband Kert; a son, George Harrell and wife Konnie; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Harrell; six grandchildren, Corey Fuller (Joni), Chris Harrell (Venessa), Ashley Lumpkin (Michael), Amelia Harrell, Jeremy Harrell (Sarah), and Joshua Harrell (Ashley); four great-grandchildren, Cassie Harrell, Caylin Harrell, Jerry Harrell, and Ridge Lumpkin, a sister and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday, May 21, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palms Cemetery in Dayton, TX.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be his four grandsons and Gary and Ray Nelson. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Delbert Brown.
