

Daniel Ray Black, 44, passed away Friday, November 18, 2005. He was born in Gary Indiana on January 12, 1961 to Jerry and Annetta Black. He was raised in South Holland, Illinois, moved to Baytown, TX and graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School in 1979. Daniel spent his career designing telecommunications software. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Baytown, TX.
Daniel is survived by his parents and daughters, Lanie and Melody Black; grandmother, Bertha Black of Crown Point, Indiana; sister, Debra Collins and husband John Breckenridge of Houston; brother, David Black and wife Betsy of Bellaire, TX; nieces and nephews, Travis, Justin, Jessica, and Emily Black, Seth Collins, Andrew and Jessica Breckenridge; and many aunts, uncles and cousins from Northwest Indiana and across the country.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services are scheduled at for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Dr. David Bowman. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
